[di più]The Chinese Garden of Friendship was developed in the Darling Harbour area of Sydney which is close to the city's Chinatown. It was designed by Sydney's Chinese sister city, Guangzhou in China and was opened as part of the bicentennial celebrations in 1988. It depicts a typical Chinese garden using four key elements of plants, water, stone and architecture which when combined together the Chinese feel gives perfect balance.
There are several nice features to be enjoyed in the gardens these include the Water Pavilion of Lotus Fragrance, the Dragon Wall and the Tea House which serves refreshments.
It is located at the far end of Darling Harbour adjacent to Chinatown close to the entertainment centre.
It is open every day except Christmas day from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm
Admission cost 6 au$ or (3.70 euros)
Family tickets and concessions are available.
