[di più]The Matilde Residence offers one star accommodation in the beautiful, quiet Trieste neighbourhood in Rome, right in the middle of a residential area full of mansions and grand houses with gardens.This establishment enjoys a privileged location, just 15 minutes by foot from Porta Pia and 20 minutes from Piazza Bologna. There are plenty of restaurants, Pizzerias and shops in the surroundings, although the area itself is a calm, quiet place where visitors can relax away from the noise and bustle of the city. Located in a 3 storey mansion, Matilde Residence has a beautiful entrance with a front garden. The rooms have bathrooms and some have permission to use the kitchen. They are all equipped with air conditioning to make the hotter months more bearable. There are double rooms with double beds and rooms for up to 5 people sleeping in a double bed and three singles. The residence was renovated in 2007 and now offers all modern conveniences. Although it may sound strange, breakfast is served in the basement and may be served in the garden in summer. Last but not least the great local transport links are worth a mention.Enjoy one of Rome’s most peaceful neighbourhoods!
