[di più]The White Lion is run by a Charity Music4Children,helping vulnerable children worldwide.Conveniently located in a large Victorian building on the well connected Streatham High Street, the complex includes accommodation for AROUND 60 people, a fantastic bar with live music open mic nights and an enclosed beer garden.In the hostel section you will find bright and cosy rooms sleeping between 1 and 6 people, including rooms with double beds for couples who desire privacy. Everything within the Hostel / Bar has been donated, if you wish to bring an item eg; lamp to donate to the hostel please do the more the merrier. All guests have unlimited access to our 4 fully equipped kitchens, our customers get 20% off all their drinks at the bar and 20% off breakfast at the Caribbean cafe across the road.Music is at the heart of this venue and if you love it as much as we do, you will have no shortage of like-minded souls to hang out with here. We have all kinds of bands playing here from Indie / Rock to World Fusion, so you can expect to enjoy a wide range of first class live acts almost every evening. If you are a musician or performer visiting London, you have found the right place. If we like your act we may even book you to perform in our bar, which would earn you a free night in the Hostel.Being run by a charity focused on children, the hostel is naturally a very friendly environment for your children too. We have a a games area and we will soon be hosting a range of fun and educational workshops for children in a separate building at the back of the venue and in the cellar we plan to develop a recording studio and a radio station.
