[di più]The Atatürk Museum which is located in Sisli was used as a house by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk during the time of the Turkish Independence War. He and his friends used the building as an office. The museum was opened in 1942 as the Atatürk Revolutions Museum.
In the museum you can find many original things such as the personal belongings of Atatürk, his clothes, uniforms, photos of his military and private life, some documents with his handwriting, his medallions, souvenirs and oil paintings of various artists such as Ibrahim Calli are displayed.
The museum is opened daily except Thursdays and Sundays between the hours 09:30 a.m 16:30 p.m. There is no fee for visiting museum.
