Is like to go to Rome and not see the Pop!
What else I can add to the previous review. The guests take off their shoes when enter Turkish home. Camii, which means mosque, is a house of Allah (which in Arabic means God).
As you can guess, you need to take off your shoes to enter Blue Camii. Do you wonder how it smells inside? Yeah, but the beauty is so rich that you forget that in the first minute you enter. Friends told me a story which was even in newspapers, one of the famous world billionaires visited the Camii and after took his shoes all photographers, reporters and TVs captured the big hole on his sock. Dont get in such confusing situation and check your socks before to go visit The Camii.
- Advice
Take second pair of socks and put them on after you take off your shoes( to prevent from skin ilnesses). Turkish wash their legs before to enter such holy places.
The camii is in the top center of Istanbul and symbol of it together with Haya Sofia.
