When you enter the hotel, the atmosphere reminds you of your grandmother’s days. You will be checked in with a cup of coffee or tea and a piece of Deventer cake. During your stay, you will continue to enjoy such warm hospitality.
It's a cosy and small family hotel with a tea and coffee house. There is a shop in the hotel where you can buy all sorts of products from different Hanseatic towns of Europe. For example Deventer koek (spiced cookies), coffee and mustard from Deventer, tea from Zutphen, honey and candy from Hamburg, marzipan from Lübeck, sweets from Helsingborg, chocolate from Brussels and marmalade from Copenhagen. Behind the shop is a Hanze museum, with wooden malls to make Dutch biscuits, coffee mills, chocolate malls and an old bakery where lots of Dutch candy is sold.
All nine rooms and one family appartment are furnished differently. Every room is named after a Hanseatic city. All rooms have a kitchenette, bathroom with a toilet and shower or bath, TV, telephone, bathroom amenities, fan, heating, tea / coffee maker, hairdryer, wake-up service / alarm clock with a radio, refrigerator, work desk. All the rooms are non-smoking.
Food & beverage
A continental breakfast is served from 7.00 till 10.00 with several kinds of fresh bread and traditional Hanseatic products from our shop. We do not serve dinner in the hotel but we can advise you of a lot of nice restaurants in the neighborhood.
Area information
The centre of Deventer is very nice to visit with very old buildings. We sell a nice route for a city-walk in the shop. Also it is very beautiful to hire a bicycle and take a trip along the river IJssel.

Checking-in is from 14:00 till 20:00.
After 20:00 the hotel will be closed. (You get a key for the hotel )
Checking-out is by before 11.00.
