The property was originally a country residence used for hunting parties by its former owners,the Counts Acquaviva d'Aragona. Montepaolo includes olive groves, outdoor terraces and a pool as well as its own chapel which was used by bishop Francesco Ramunni, ancestor of the owner. Agriturismo Montepaolo has been carefully restored to maintain its rustic charm, while fully equipped with modern amenities. It is an elegant farmhouse with swimming pool, 10 bedrooms and a 2 bedroom cottage. It is located on over two hectares in the midst of 200 year old olive groves. It sits on a small hill overlooking the valley of Montepaolo.The property is found down a winding unpaved lane, 3km from the medieval town of Conversano and only 7km from the Adriatic Sea.The owner prepares delicious meals typical of Puglia made from the highest quality local ingredients.
