The Mandalai Hotel is located at Chalok Lam Village on the northern coast of Phangan with its own stretch of beach front and with the Chalok Lam Bay Mountains providing a dramatic backdrop.

Chalok Lam is a traditional fishing village that is very laid back and natural with hundred of acres of undeveloped land packed with coconut palms, streams and pasture. The village has shops, bars and restaurants on offer and locally there are elephant training camps, para-gliding, diving schools, trekking and Thai cookery lessons which can be integrated into any activity program.
Koh Phangan is covered in scores of beaches and bays that can be visited by jeep or motorbike and allow guests a perfect beach holiday on Phangan. The roads have recently been upgraded and so most on the north and western sides can be accessed quite easily. Over the mountains to the east the roads become a little harder but offer fantastic views back over the island and the beauties contained therein.
