[di più]The Taste of Chicago started as a simple food festival on the 4th of July in 1980 and has since developed into the largest outdoor food festival in the world. Every year more than 3 million visitors attend the 10 day celebrations at Chicago's Grant Park.
Apart from food, which is provided by the chef's of the city's most popular restaurants, there will be live music entertainment on several stages, film screenings, cooking classes, a family village with entertainment for the whole family, dance performances and much,much more. On the 3rd of July (Independence Eve) there will be a fireworks display at the downtown shore of Lake Michigan.
