[di più]Built in 1805 for the Prince of Wales Brighton Dome is now a conference centre connected to the Concert Hall, the Corn Exchange, Pavilion Theatre, Museum and Art Gallery and the Royal Pavilion, all of which are linked together by an underground tunnel. Today the Dome is recognised as one of the most architecturally important and versatile venues in the south of England. It plays host to many events throughout the year. Amongst its many claims to fame it hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 when Abba won.
Parts of the Dome are accessible to the general public whilst other areas can only be visited only during events.
