Berck-sur-Mer is a "KID" resort with a large number of amenities for families with children. The beach offers the supervised Mickey Club for children in between 3-12 years of age during the summer season where children can take part in all kinds of activities for a weekly fee.
Berck Plage Central is accessible for the handicapped and supervised during July and August. Refreshments can be found along the Esplanade Parmentier where also several souvenir shops, a mini golf course, a go-karting track and an old-fashioned merry-go-round can be found.
Popular sports on the beach include kite surfing and fun boarding, equipment rental is available directly on the beach.
