Pylaia Boutique Hotel is a new small luxurious hotel in the island of Astypalaia, built according to the traditional astypalaian architecture and decorated with a contemporary touch.
Pylaia Boutique Hotel is located in the picturesque Chora of Astypalaia, hardly 200 meters from the central square which is dominated by the figure of the 9 traditional mills that are well-preserved till our times. It is built on a bank of a hill, in an extent of 2 acres, with a view to the sea, and the coves of Aichyli, Agios Konstantinos, Papoy and Tzanaki. In a distance of hardly 300 meters you can find one of the most beautiful beaches of island, Livadi.
Hotel and Rooms Structure
Pylaia Boutique Hotel is a complex of 6 autonomous buildings that host in total 19 double rooms, 2 junior suites, 4 grand suites, and 1 familial house. Space and room allocation to those 6 buildings is as following:
Building 1: reception, restaurant, commercial shop
Building 2: 5 double rooms (with frugal abstractive decoration) - 1 family house
Building 3: 2 junior suites (with elements of astypalaian architecture) - 2 double rooms
Building 4: 4 grand suites that can host up to 4 individuals ( family)
Building 5: 8 double rooms with modern character and the option to unite them by two and turn the room into a four-bed flat
Building 6: 4 double rooms of traditional character
Double rooms vary between 30-35 m2 and includes double (or twin) beds, 1 or 2 sofas, while some rooms can host 1 or 2 extra persons. Junior suites are about 50-55m2, in 2 leve;s, with a double bde and 1 sofa. Suites vary between 65-80 m2, with separate sitting room and bedroom, a double bed, 2 sofas, and enough space to host 1or 2 extra persons.

They are all equipped with the best sleeping systems of Coco-mat company, and you are offered cleaning services twice per day (noon and afternoon care).
Plori Gourmet Restaurant is hosted in the hotel, promising unique gastronomic explorations under the castle of Astypalaia and with a stunning view to the Aegean Sea. Pylaia Boutique Hotel has 2 swimming pools and a free parking area. Its commercial shop offers selectively jewels, smoking gadgets, books and art elements, accessories and souvenirs. While in the reception area operates an internet corner. Future expansion plans involves creation of a private gym, a spa centre and a congress centre.
We offer to all our visitors transportation from and to the harbor or the airport, car rental services, and an option to organize daily excursions on a private boat. Our hosts enjoy daily their breakfast in buffet with a huge variety of dishes and traditional Astypalaian products, exclusively from our own production-shop labeled Traditional Products of Astypalaia ‘Eliana’.
